Happy New Year from all the team at Feehily’s Florist, we hope all our lovely customers had a fab festive season! As we roll into January 2021 and COVID-19 is still impacting us all, we wanted to reassure you that our florists are still working safely behind closed doors to create and deliver beautiful flowers to your family and friends. So even if you can’t wish them a Happy Birthday in person or celebrate a special occasion together, Feehily’s Florist can deliver a magical gift full of emotion.
Our fresh flowers are sourced from Holland and trusted growers with regular deliveries, so our Sligo flower shop always has a fabulous range of seasonal blooms and houseplants – perfect for brightening up January days. The cold days brings into season some stunning flowers such as carnations, lilies, ranuncuclus, roses and lisianthus. This year we are loving all the crisp wintery pastel shades of petals, mixed with icy silver euculypyus and white berries - a dreamy bouquet of winterwonderland!

The official birthday flower for January is the Carnation. These fabulous little flowers thrive in the colder weather so are perfect for winter birthdays, and symbolise loyalty, love and devotion. You can spot Carnations as they are round shaped with delicate ruffled petals and come in a range of pretty colours - most popular in soft white, baby pink and bright red.
So if you are looking to send some blooms for a January birthday, why not ask us to include some carnations for a hidden meaning!
How to order flowers
Our Sligo Flower shop is closed for customer browsing for the time being due to restrictions, but you can still order online for Click & Collect from the shop or local same day delivery is available. Just simply order your flowers online from our lovely range, drop us an email or call the Feehily’s team on 071 9170000 - we are always happy to help if you have any questions or special requests.
Extra touches
We know the flowers you send are full of emotion, and are often for a very special occasion. Feehily’s Florist offer finishing touches options so you can personalise the floral gift – from personal card messages, add on gifts or asking for a favourite flower to be used, our team can make it extra special.
When you order online from Feehily’s Florist you can add a short card message which we nestle in the flowers for delivery, which is a lovely way to add some thoughtful words. If your loved one has a favourite bloom like yellow roses or adores pink lilies, just let our florists know and we can incorporate these in to the bespoke bouquet (subject to availability, bet we will alwasy do our best to source any special requests). We also have a gorgeous selection of gifts such as Belgian chocolates, luxury wines and champagne, helium balloons, stylish glass vases and plant pots so you can add an extra personal touch to be delivered along with the fresh flowers.
